The Best Bahamas Beaches

Cable Beach

Nassau

As one of the most popular beaches in Nassau, Cable Beach offers amazing views, clear turquoise waters, and vibrant nightlife and entertainment options. These 2.5 curving miles of shoreline are just west of Nassau and lined with bars, restaurants, resorts and casinos. You can rent beach chairs, surfboards, and water scooters or just relax in the powdery white sands. If you’re looking for seclusion, then we don’t recommend Cable Beach.

Beach Amenities: Parking Available At Goodman’s Bay, No Additional Amenities.

Pink Sands Beach

Harbour Island

Those looking for a unique experience in The Bahamas will love Pink Sands Beach on Harbour Island. It’s true, the sand here shimmers with a pink glow where the water meets the shore. The pink sand color on these 3 miles of sand comes from crushed seashells. You’ll need to walk a short path to get to this stunning beach, but it’s worth the trek. For an even more magical experience, head to Pink Sands Beach during sunrise or sunset. You will see the faint blush colored sand by sunrise transforms into a rosy red when fired by the orange hues of a beautiful sunset.

Gold Rock Beach

Grand Bahama

You can find Gold Rock Beach in Lucayan National Park in Grand Bahama. Those looking for seclusion will find it here, thanks to the beach being accessible via a mangrove trail. The area is protected by the Bahamas National Trust, making it pristine and one of the best beaches in the Bahamas. Make sure to stay for low tide as the beach extends during this time and is often referred to as the ‘Grand Bahamas welcome mat.’ Amenities at this secluded piece of paradise include BBQ grills, benches and picnic tables.
