GRACE BAY
Grace Bay is the premier hotel and restaurant district in Turks and Caicos. Fine dining and trendy restaurants are easy to come by in this hugely popular neighborhood.
PROVIDENCIALES
Bight Settlement in Providenciales is where the locals live and is your best stop for budget accommodations and local cuisine. It’s definitely more of a charming authentic experience, but you don’t have all the picture-perfect beaches and as many gourmet options.
GRAND TURK
Grand Turk is a top cruise ship destination and has a variety of restaurant options to choose from. It’s a gorgeous island and is a great place if you just want to relax at the beach and eat at more touristy oceanfront restaurants.
Budget Restaurants
Mango Reef Restaurant
Located in Turtle Cove Marina, Mango Reef is a modern eatery with a palm-decked terrace overlooking the water. The atmosphere is incredibly tranquil, the cocktails are inventive, and you’ll find the perfect combination of international and local fare. Stop by for some lobster curry, surf and turf, or the Dominican paella and red snapper fillet for a relaxing night on the water
Jack’s Shack
For a real island experience, head to Jack’s Shack where authentic flavors are served deck side in a relaxing, open-air tiki bar overlooking the sea. You can’t go wrong with the conch and the jerk chicken paired with an ice-cold beer or cocktail. Once you’re done with your meal, kick back and stay awhile with a drink from Jack’s and a spot on the beach to enjoy the warm Caribbean breeze.
Miss B’s Restaurant
Miss B’s charming yellow house is a locally owned eatery with all the homemade dishes you love. From the fresh fish sourced from local fishermen to quintessential Turks and Caicos sides, you’ll be hard-pressed to find better service and local authenticity elsewhere. Located in North Caicos, Miss B’s famous seafood dishes, fried plantains, and homemade baked goods are best enjoyed with live music from local artists or karaoke nights on the weekend.
Turks Kebab
Make sure you get to Turks Kebab early, because this little lunch spot in Providenciales fills up fast. Their Turkish, Mediterranean and Greek fare are popular among locals and visitors alike for their gyro wraps, falafel, and fresh seafood sides. A true gem is the pita doner kebab which you won’t find on any other menus in Turks and Caicos.
Sweet T’s
It’s hard to miss Sweet T’s bright pink and white shop in Downtown Providenciales, famous for serving the best fried chicken on the island. Their hot sauce batter and seasoned fries have just the right amount of kick to keep you coming back for more. This local favorite (and hidden gem amongst tourists) has remained the best spot for crispy chicken wings for over twenty years.
Midrange Restaurants
Da’ Conch Shack
Da’ Conch shack is everything we love about the Caribbean: Fresh seafood, live island tunes, and stiff drinks served directly on the sandy beach. You’ll find this quintessential beach bar northwest of downtown, where a cluster of clapboard huts emit mouthwatering aromas of island fare, seafood, and grilled ribs, chicken, and steak.
Bay Bistro
You won’t get closer to the beach at any other restaurant than you will at Bay Bistro. Head Chef Clive Whent is known for delivering a gourmet dining experience at an incredible value. Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Bay Bistro serves the perfect combination of local and international classics with views you won’t find anywhere else.
The Deck at Seven Stars
While Seven Stars resort is the epitome of high class and luxury, The Deck is their informal sister eatery featuring quick bites, local beers, and stunning views of the Caribbean. Stop by for a juicy hamburger or some conch fritters but stay for the live music, drinks, and bonfire on the beach!
Arches on the Ridge Café
At Arches on the Ridge, you’ll find hot out of the oven breads and pastries and fresh breakfast and lunch varieties in the historical Grand Turk. Enjoy a daily changing menu featuring seasonal ingredients and homemade specialties in the shade of Ridge’s outdoor seating, overlooking all of Grand Turk Island.
Shay Cafe & Lounge
There is no shortage of seafood dinner restaurants in Turks and Caicos, but if you’re looking for an amazing brunch, look no further than Shay Café and Lounge. This family-owned business welcomes guests with a fresh cup of organic coffee and an extensive menu filled with your favorite breakfast and lunch classics. From crepes, french toast, and breakfast sandwiches, to paninis, wraps and pizza, there is something for everyone at Shay’s.
High-End Restaurants
Infiniti Restaurant
Infiniti Restaurant is the Island’s premier gourmet restaurant. The Mediterranean-style, sea to table cuisine has garnered the restaurant a number of awards, but it’s the ambiance at Infiniti that is truly unrivaled. The thatched roofing, contemporary place settings, and rustic-chic décor are illuminated by the glowing hues of wicker lanterns and the Caribbean sunset. If that doesn’t scream timeless luxury, picture yourself enjoying a drink and mojo lobster tail while being serenaded by live music.
Grace’s Cottage
Grace’s Cottage delivers French-inspired dishes, picturesque seating, and top-notch service –but not without adding their own eclectic touch. From the southern style fretwork and gingerbread trim to the shades of coral and lime green throughout, Grace’s Cottage is one of a kind. Stop by at dinner to enjoy an extensive wine list from around the globe and menu that can accommodate everyone in your party (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free).
Caribbean Element
For authentic Caribbean flavors in Grace Bay, Caribbean Element is a must. Each of their dishes are made with fresh, seasonal ingredients and packed with flavors. Popular favorites include the coconut shrimp or conch ceviche for starters, and for mains you can’t go wrong with the seafood risotto or curry snapper.
Seven
For an award-winning meal on the renowned beaches of Grace Bay, Seven is the place to be. Their exceptional culinary experience features a refined, candlelit setting within the luxurious Seven Stars Resort. Tender steaks and fresh seafood are served alongside delectable starters such as the tomato and strawberry gazpacho or the foie gras terrine with pineapple chutney which won’t disappoint.
Le Bouchon Du Village
Unlike the other fine dining establishments in Turks and Caicos, Le Bouchon Du Village is a small sidewalk café with all the characteristics of a Parisian restaurant in the center of Grace Bay. You’ll find this hidden gem in Regent Village, decorated in lights and serving expertly prepared and utterly delectable French classics like the escargots, steak au poivre, and foie gras.
