Bavaro Beach (Playa Bavaro) is the most popular beach in Punta Cana, and many are drawn here because of its white sand and turquoise waters. It is also home to numerous all inclusive resorts and restaurants, but the beach is free to enter. Keep in mind that Bavaro Beach can be crowded, but the beach is long. Therefore, even in high season, this beach feels relaxed while lounging on the ivory sand or enjoying the water.

Keep in mind that a significant part of the beach is only accessible to guests at Secrets Cap Cana Resort, and they do ask for ID. There is a $20 USD entrance fee that goes towards food and drink, and allows you to use the resorts facilities. However, the beach is always tranquil and serene due to its exclusivity. An ideal beach for watersports, the reef right off Playa Juanillo is an underwater world just waiting to be explored.
